Felicia Mycyk is a problem solver and coach in sports, in business — and in life.

In 2006, the Beaver County resident established Mycyk Coaching and Consulting as a virtual business dedicated to empowering individuals, teams and organizations to reach their full potential through motivational speaking, leadership development and entrepreneurship coaching, as well as team building and performance improvement. She also offers youth empowerment programs and inspirational talks and seminars that motivate and empower audiences.

A longtime high school sports coach who went on to become the first female football coach for Moon High School, Mycyk cofounded Ambridge Connection. The hyperlocal news group, which promotes civic engagement, is now part of the Pittsburgh Media Partnership.

“With support from volunteers and the wider community, Ambridge Connection continues to be an invaluable resource and catalyst in revitalizing the community of Ambridge,” Mycyk says.

Broadening her connections led Mycyk to develop her signature program, D.E.C.I.D.E (Discover, Embrace, Condition, Include, Determination, Evolve) Self Leadership. The program focuses on self-awareness, self-management and self-motivation.

“[I] have had the privilege of being a keynote speaker for numerous companies, along with conducting all-day workshops and company breakouts,” she says. “Companies also hire me to facilitate meetings and programs due to my ability to ensure everyone is heard and to bring order to chaos.

Honored with the “Be The Change’’ award from the Pennsylvania Governor’s Conference for Women, Mycyk has also been recognized as a Beaver County “Star” at the Black History Achievement Award Banquet and selected as a 40 under 40 Rotary Legacy Zone Young Professional. She also received the “Heart of a Lion” award from the Lions Club International for her commitment to community service, which includes coaching youth sports camps.

“I have coached for a number of Pro Camps and the Steelers youth camps,” she says. “This experience led me to start an all-girls football camp, which in turn allowed me to work with the Pittsburgh Steelers to assist in bringing high school girls flag football as a coach to Pennsylvania as an emerging PIAA sport.”

Next, Mycyk plans to release a book on amplifying the leader within using her D.E.C.I.D.E. method, as well as establish a nonprofit dedicated to instilling purpose and identity in young people through sports and relationship building.

“I believe building confidence in individuals equips them to handle life’s challenges in-person and online in fostering future leaders both on and off the field,” she says.

Her influence extends beyond public speaking into active community involvement, where she strives to make a positive impact through various local initiatives and programs. Her dynamic approach and commitment to uplifting others led her to be selected as Rotary District 7305 District Governor for 2025-26.
