In a knockout combo for dads who are into history and locally distilled spirits, the Wigle Whiskey Rebellion Distillery Tour offers an evening of sipping and stories. Taking place every Saturday at the award-winning distillery’s location in the Strip District, the guided tour shows how spirits such as whiskey, gin and rum are made — while the participants sip on them. Tourists will also hear the history of Western Pennsylvania’s bloody Whiskey Rebellion, when distillers in the 1790s rebelled against the new federal government’s whiskey tax.
