Riverlife’s Party at the Pier Turns 15 and Celebrates the Future of Pittsburgh’s Riverfonts with an Out-of-this-World Theme

Riverlife’s Party at the Pier: Galactic, presented by Peoples, will land on the Rooftop Terrace at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on Friday August 23, 2024. The event marks two exciting and important milestones for Riverlife – celebrating 25 years of Riverlife and 15 years of Party at the Pier.

Known widely as Pittsburgh’s “fashion event of the year,” guests dressing to impress take creative cocktail attire to new heights. Expect to see striking silvers in honor of Riverlife’s 25th year, shining crystal inspired by 15 years of Party at the Pier, and glowing hues and daring moments reflective of Riverlife’s bold visions for the future of Pittsburgh’s riverfronts.

Chaired by the Wirginis Family of the Gateway Clipper, guests will step into a futuristic fantasy complete with cosmic cocktails, technological treats, and an out-of-this-world line up of entertainment with special surprises throughout the night. The VIP Reception, presented by PNC, will begin at 6:30pm and feature exclusive entertainment and a universe of decadent food and drink. The doors will open at 7:30pm to all ticketed guests and will feature even more surprises, including access to the Riverfront View Lounge, presented by First National Bank, throughout the evening.
