Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Adam
This affectionate boy loves back scratches and exercise. Meet him at Animal Friends.
Adam made his way to Animal Friends by our Humane Investigations Team after being found abandoned and shivering in a dilapidated house. Adam is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to be petted and receive back scratches. He loves exercise; going on walks and sniffing everything outside are two of his favorite things. Given his background, it is not surprising that Adam guards with his food. We are working on this with him, and he is making a lot of progress! He needs a family who will continue to work with him, using only positive reinforcement training, so that he can be his best self. Adam can potentially live with another dog but cannot live with cats. Adam is also looking for a home with adults only. Look at that sweet, goofy face! Come ask our adoption counselors about Adam.
Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our animals in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
