Bluesy loves to run and has lots of energy. He is heartworm positive and will need to limit his activity for the next six months. Bluesy would do well in a home with children ages 6 and older, and would prefer a home without cats. He could potentially live with another dog pending a successful meet & greet.
Bluesy is also a part of our SCI Fayette Training Program and is currently living off-campus at the Fayette State Correctional Institution where he is living with selected inmates. While there, Bluesy enjoys enrichment activities, positive reinforcement and force-free training.
Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our animals in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
