Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Othello

This energetic youngster is looking for his forever home. Make arrangements to meet him at Animal Friends.

Othello

Breed: Mixed Breed (Medium)
Sex: Male
Age: 2.6 years
Weight: 49 pounds

Othello came to us when found by the police as a stray. He is fun, energetic, and loves to go on walks. He isn’t quite a puppy anymore, but still has puppy tendencies. He needs a home where everyone is at least 13 years old and where his positive reinforcement training will continue. Othello needs to be the only dog in his home and can not live in any communal living environment.  Othello is an excited companion who loves to play with toys but needs to work on his leash manners. Othello also loves pets and receiving your attention.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our animals in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
