The century-old, five-bedroom home was lovely from afar, but a mess close up — until Carole Gigliotti worked her magic.The home, which sits on half an acre along Frankstown Road, also stirred up a lot of feelings on the Pittsburgh Magazine Facebook page.

3. Two Years Later, Pittsburgh’s Baywood Mansion is Still for Sale
Still for sale now, the lavish, historical Highland Park property, also known as “King’s Estate,” first went on the market in the early days of 2020. Now priced at $2.9 million, the updated, seven-bedroom, 4½-bathroom mansion was built in 1880.
2. This Historical Home in Dormont Has Only Changed Hands Once in Over 100 Years
Built by Frederick Hugh Groves in 1913, the Colonial-style stucco house along Glenmore Avenue was kept in immaculate condition by its most recent owner, Charles Fenner, who lived there from 1971 until his death in 2022.

In a very Pittsburgh story, Joyce Fu, daughter of legendary orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Freddie Fu, returned to her roots in a renovated Point Breeze home across the street from where she grew up.
