The 2026 NFL Draft is coming to Pittsburgh.

The three-day event, announced Wednesday by the NFL, will host portions of the event in Point State Park and others at Acrisure Stadium. Pittsburgh Magazine’s Sean Collier recently asked in his column, “where could the NFL Draft take place around Pittsburgh?” We have our answer, but it’s still fun to imagine it happening at Sandcastle.

Draft activities throughout the Steel City will include community events, a concert series and a fan festival. The festival will be free for fans and will offer the chance to take pictures with the Vince Lombardi Trophy and get autographs from NFL players, according to a press release from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The 2024 draft was held in Detroit and event pulled in 775,000 in-person fans, according to the Steelers. Wisconsin is next in line, as the Badger State will host the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay on April 24-26, 2025.
